Non-Violent Direct Action Training

Where: Brattleboro Food Co-op Community Room, 2 Main St, Brattleboro
What: Workshop goals include understanding and become inspired by the spirit and history of non-violent direct action; preparing for participation in non-violent action; building stronger community among activists in the region; exploring the role of privilege and power in risking arrest; and how to join or creat a new affinity group. Trainers: Cate Woolner and Carol Lewis of Sugar Shack Alliance. The workshop is free, but a donation of $5-$20 would be appreciated. Bread, pastries, fruit, coffee, and tea will be available throughout the day. Bring your own lunch, or eat in the Co-op Café or elsewhere in town.
