FRRACS Fall Fest – Weymouth
October 21 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
This Fall FRRACS will be hosting a community festival in the park next to the proposed compressor station. Gather to celebrate the park and all that our community has accomplished thus far in the fight against the compressor station. FRRACS hopes that you will join in this celebration. There will be music, kids activities, food and more. This event is free and all are welcome to join! If Spectra gets their way, public access to the park that sits along the Fore River could be taken away. The park is for the people, not the polluters.
Location: 6 Bridge Street, North Weymouth (the park next to the proposed compressor station site). Entrance is at the base of the Fore River Bridge.
PARKING AND SHUTTLE MAPS AVAILABLE ON FRRACS WEBSITE. There is limited parking on site, but FRRACS will have overflow parking with shuttles available from St. Joseph’s Church in Quincy (556 Washington St.). If you park on site, you can park along the fence and in the parking lot at Lovell’s Grove (on the Calpine side of the bridge). There is a small lot on the right side of the bridge (coming from Weymouth) that will be available for handicap parking. FRRACS will have volunteers helping to direct parking.
