Climate Activist Training

April 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

In these times, what we do at the state and local level is more important than ever to ensure that Massachusetts continues to be a clean energy leader, and that clean energy conversion is fair to all!

Please join us for this activist training in New Bedford.

On April 17, New Bedford residents and activists will host Emily Norton, Director of the Mass. Chapter of the Sierra Club and Deb
Pasternak, Chair of the Chapter’s Executive Committee to present things we need to know about the clean-energy landscape in Massachusetts: How our legislators operate; how to break through to them, and which approaches work best for local action.

This event is co-sponsored by Marching Forward, Marion Institute’s SouthCoast Energy Challenge, New Bedford Science Café, and UMass-Dartmouth’s Office of Campus Sustainability.
